Continental SIMOS18.2 — supported tools
Continental Simos18.2 ECU reading and writing: AutoTuner: Boot — read and write; AutoTuner: OBD — write. Support applies to the MCU, vehicle and HW/SW variants specified for each programming tool. Check the OBD reading type, required unlocking and restrictions for the exact ECU. Hexprog release 1.0.39 of 28 June 2021 lists virtual reading, OBD writing and checksum correction for VW, Audi, Skoda and Seat.
Compatibility depends on ECU HW/SW, protocol and active licence. A tool missing from this list does not imply lack of support.
