Forum rules

1. Forum and operator

ECU-HELP is an automotive community covering diagnostics, repairs, electronics, tuning and the game simulator. The operator is eMJ Dawid Mierzejewski, ul. These rules cover the forum; game and Premium purchase terms are provided separately at ecu-help.pl.

2. Account and access

Public discussions are free to read. Posting requires your own ECU-HELP game account and acceptance of these forum rules. The service is for adults. Use one account, protect your credentials and do not impersonate others. Game Premium does not exempt members from forum rules.

3. Posting useful questions

Choose the correct section and a descriptive title. Include the make, model, engine, year, symptoms, fault codes and measurements already taken. Use one thread per problem and share the solution when found. Clearly distinguish real measurements from simulations. Write in Polish or English; do not duplicate threads just to change the language.

4. Content and conduct

Threats, harassment, discrimination, scams, spam, unlawful disclosure of personal information, malware and infringement of others' rights are prohibited. Do not post passwords, licence keys, stolen databases, pirated software or instructions for committing crimes. Remove unnecessary customer information, full VINs and licence plates. Agree commercial promotion with the administration and disclose its commercial nature.

5. Content rights

Only share material you own or are entitled to publish. You keep your rights and permit the operator to store, display, technically format and provide labelled translations of your content for the operation of the forum. This does not grant a general right to sell your material elsewhere. Quote only justified excerpts and credit the source.

6. Advice and workshops

Posts express their authors' views. Advice is not a substitute for inspecting a vehicle or consulting manufacturer documentation. Game simulation results are not ready-to-use calibrations for real vehicles. Listed workshops are independent service providers; agree work, price and terms directly with them. A recommendation means an administration-selected listing, not a guarantee of every service outcome. Paid placement must be disclosed.

7. Moderation and appeals

Administrators and moderators may correct titles, move, close, hide or remove content, warn users or restrict accounts. Action should reflect the seriousness and repetition of a violation. Moderation must not misrepresent an author's opinion. Restrictions should include a reason and an appeal route. Use “Report content / contact” to appeal, specifying the discussion, decision and reasons. A person reviews the appeal; machine translation alone does not trigger automatic penalties.

8. Reports and complaints

Use “Report” beside a post for moderation reports. “Report content / contact” is also available without logging in. Provide the exact content URL, explain the issue and supply contact information if you want a reply. For illegal-content notices, explain the alleged illegality and confirm good faith. Reports are handled without undue delay; the decision is shown in the report panel, while email correspondence is handled separately. Service complaints may be sent to tuningzielona@gmail.com. Statutory rights are unaffected.

9. Translation

The original remains available. Machine translations are labelled and can contain errors, particularly in component names, units and measurements. When enabled, public posts are sent to DeepL for translation. Private messages and non-public sections are excluded. Report translation errors to the administration.

10. Account, data and changes

You may edit your posts within forum permissions and contact us about account or data deletion. Data removal and discussion context are considered under applicable law; see “Privacy”. Rule changes carry a date and version. Material changes require renewed acceptance before posting. These rules do not exclude mandatory statutory rights.
